Mental Health Care

Mental illness can affect many areas of your life. But we are here to help. With the right support and treatment, mental illness doesn’t have to be a barrier to a fulfilling life. Whatever mental illness an individual has, we will help them meet their needs, in their home, so they can continue to live a healthy life, whilst receiving the appropriate personalised care they deserve. Our approach to care provision is rooted on best practice and achieving the right outcomes for each individual person.

We support people with a diagnosed mental health condition, which can be anything from:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Bipolar affective disorder
  • Anxiety and panic disorders
  • Dissociation and dissociative disorders
  • Depression
  • Eating disorders
  • Personality disorders
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder
  • Paranoia
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Psychosis
  • Schizophrenia

Through self-development and collaborative support with staff, the people we support gain self-confidence and improved emotional wellbeing on their pathway to independence and recovery.

Our specialist team of workers deliver person-centred support across the full range of services that we provide. Using the recovery approach means they use a combination of techniques including mindfulness, motivational interviews and coaching, supporting each person’s potential for wellbeing and recovery as their own personal journey rather than a set outcome.

We aim to enhance people’s quality of life by enabling them to make informed choices about their daily life and we actively engage with our service users and relatives, encouraging regular feedback to ensure people in our care maximise their independence. The amount of support we provide varies depending on needs, and can be anything from a few hours a week, up to full-time support or intensive support over a short period of time to help achieve a goal. We also encourage peer support as much as possible, where mutual support and a shared journey empowers people to make the changes and learn together.
